In March, Margaret Logan, our very own Art Guide, took us on a tour of the French Room in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery.  She delighted us with her knowledge and stories regarding a variety of the paintings on view. We followed this with a delicious lunch in the Art Gallery Café.  We returned home full of happy memories of a special group outing.

At our February meeting, the award-winning artist, Victoria Crowe gave our newly-formed Art Lovers’ Group and visitors, an interesting and inspiring talk, concentrating on her life-time passion for the landscape.  From her early years in the Pentland Hills, to the canals of Venice and the light of Orkney, she delighted us with her ephemeral paintings.  In lieu of a speaker fee, we collected £124 for her chosen charity, Médecins Sans Frontièrs.
