Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses a chair for balance or support while seated.

It's a good option for people who have limited mobility, balance issues or chronic illnesses or who are new to yoga.

Chair yoga includes the same core principles as traditional yoga, such as: Focusing on your breath, paying attention to your thoughts, and staying in the moment.

Chair yoga can help improve flexibility, concentration, strength, and mood, and reduce stress and joint strain. Some basic chair yoga poses include: Seated cat cow, Seated twist, Seated chest opener, Chair pigeon/hip opener, and Seated forward fold.
