What is Line Dancing?

A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows without regard for the gender of the individuals. All face the same direction or face each other and execute the steps at the same time.

Easy and Enjoyable

Line dancing is great for mental and physical activity and is particularly good for exercising your memory. It keeps members young at heart and provides lots of fun and laughs.

 Group Leader's Comments

"The majority of the class have never tried Line Dancing before and it is quite inspiring to see the progress that they have made already. I have seen members helping other members as we all need a bit of time to get the steps right - but we can all do it with some persistence (and support). Come and try something new and have an enjoyable time."
