Mahjong for Beginners

Mahjong is a game of 144 tiles played by 3 or 4 at a table, making patterns with the 13 tiles each is given through acquisition and discard.  Those coming fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon say: “We have a great time, progressing from “straight” Mahjong to Fancy Hands in 4 sessions”,  Also, “ this game is highly addictive and enjoyable, which is learnt in a relaxed, social setting.” Finally, “it’s fun in a friendly group, and there’s lots of encouragement.”
If anyone counts the tiles in the photograph below, the 14th tile makes the game complete!  Mahjong is called!

We chat while preparing the set up of the game, and end the afternoon session with tea/coffee and biscuits. There’s no financial cost, as players, in turn bring a packet of biscuits. Sessions start at 2.30pm. Beginners and established players are welcome, and if coming for the first time please TEXT Hilary on 07791947508 for further details.
